You can almost hear the Champagne corks popping along Lincoln Road as fine dining restaurant Clarkes finds their way into the 2013 edition of the Michelin Guide, picking up a very respectable 3 forks and spoons “Very comfortable restaurant” rating for their efforts.
As I’m sure anyone that’s eaten at Clarkes will testify, not only is the food art on a plate but it also tastes pretty good too with Michelin inspectors obviously thinking the same.
Thankfully a meal at Clarkes restaurant doesn’t mean breaking into your life savings, with a 3-course lunch for only ?15. Of course there are more pricey menus such as the 9-course tasting menu if you’re feeling particularly flush this month.
Lets hope chef Lee Clarke takes the Michelin feedback on board and they get themselves a Michelin star next year!
