Max Power consider the end of the bodykit

Well I never thought it would happen – Max Power magazine openly admitting the bodykit has probably had it’s day.

Maxpower.co.uk Website Developer Jason Aughton says that the magazine has finally seen the light and are suggesting the bodykit bubble has burst. He reports that those that know are moving towards the subtle camp although he believes the plastic tat will return in a few years when attention-seeking boy racers feel that they are being overlooked. The Police to headline 2008 Isle of Wight Festival

Just announced on the Official Isle of Wight Festival website is news that The Police will be headlining on the Sunday night!

IoW Festival Promoter John Giddings confirmed The Police will bring 2008′s festival to a close on the Sunday night. As their only UK festival outing in 2008, The Police’s performance will surely be one of the highlights of the summer.

Rumours were flying around last year that Sting or The Police would be playing however the festival date clashed with another concert Sting was performing at. Instead, last year’s headliners The Rolling Stones wowed an estimated 50,000 festival goers with their performance and raised the bar for this years acts.

Cheeky referee shows ladies Rugby team his backside

Rugby referee Robert Tustin dropped his shorts during a ladies rugby match between Peterborough and Thetford, exposing his backside.
The incident which occurred on October 28th has seen the East Midlands Society referee suspended from his duties for 18 weeks.

On his return to the field, he turned his back on the stand where Peterborough’s supporters were gathered, and dropped his shorts.

I’ve been noticing more and more recently that the quality of what you would call a “hot uk deal” has been lacking, with typical offers giving no more than free delivery or a miserable 2% discount.
David Fiske commented on the end of voucher codes recently but I believe the problem is more widespread than being limited to just the voucher code offer model.

Barely six months have gone past since the last Isle of Wight festival and already tills are ringing with the sound of ticket sales for the 2008 festival.

This time however, the tickets on sale aren’t going to get you through the gate to the main stage. Instead, the £75 Festival First tickets will buy you priority booking for a pre-sale block of Isle of Wight festival 2008 weekend camping tickets.
At first glance, this screams of being a scam. Why pay an EXTRA £75 on top of what’s likely to be in excess of £125 a ticket anyway just so you can get to the front of the ticket sales queue?
