Celebrity Come Dine With Me 2008
The next best thing to cooking (and eating) great food as got to be watching it being cooked on TV and with hundreds of shows and dedicated TV channels, us foodies have never had it so good!
Narrated by the hilarious Dave Lamb, Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me series is one of those shows that quietly sits in the shadow of all the F-Word’s out there but after four series it’s a format to be reckoned with. 4 (or 5, depending on the series) strangers all take turns to cook a full blown meal for the other diners in the course of a week, with each host being scored based on their skills in the kitchen and at entertaining. Needless to say, there’s always a lot of bickering going on which just adds to the appeal of the show.
So what better than combining a winning format like this with a celebrity twist, throwing celebs (normally z-listers) into the mixing bowl whilst giving a glimpse into their everyday lives. The latest Celebrity Come Dine With Me offering is due to air at 8pm tomorrow night (Wednesday 17th) on Channel 4 with Lee Ryan from Blue, Linda Barker from interior design, Michelle Heaton from LibertyX and last but definitely not least, Peter Stringfellow of Gentleman’s Club fame.
Previous celebrity specials have shown us Ulrika Jonsson cooking sea bass and MC Harvey making chicken wings so only time will tell what delights we have in store with tomorrow’s show!
Don’t take my word for it – I’m not the only one

please could I have a copy of the linda Barker recipes from Monday 20th July 2009
Hi Agnes, you can find all of Linda’s recipes at the Channel 4 website. They have all the details for Linda’s cauliflower soup with goat’s cheese and truffle oil, home-made seeded bread rolls, herb crusted lamb cutlets with dauphinoise potatoes and finally lemon surprise pudding accompanied by cheese and dog biscuits.
