Have to disagree Peterborough is horrible for a night out.
Everyone seems to be looking to have a fight. would much rather travel a bit further and go cambridge for a night out. Peterborough has no class

Sorry to disagree with you, but Peterborough is a dangerous place.
There are more areas to it than just the city center. Have you tried walking down Millfield in the early hours. Or even the Welland estate.
I was mugged at 10.00pm, in the town center. My partner , a strapping 6 footer was chased through the town by 6 youths, who we assume wanted to “borrow” his cycle.
A & E is packed with innocent people, who were targets for thugs that start a fight for sport.
The cell block at local police station has had to expand it’s 6 cells to 20, to cope with the weekend rush.
The writer above has been very fortunate. But it is only a matter of time, before he too will suffer in this violent city.
