The timing for the cloud forest cake in the first recipe book is completely off, I have never managed to get a skewer to come out clean in 35 mins. I find this to be a problem with a lot of Willie’s recipies, I think publication was rushed and they missed out on testing. It’s a shame, because the cake tastes fantastic but I’ve also had inconsistent results with it.

Hello, I tried your chocolate cake recipe some days ago but somehow couldn’t get the same result as you, my cake definitely wasn’t looking that good (but tasted fine). What kind of chocolate do you use? Maybe it’s because of the flour I used, i’m gluten intelorant so I used Rice flour instead of regular wheat flour.

Love the cloud chocolate cake, but it has an inconsistent outcome, first one was magnificent and I decided it would be the cake for my daughter’s wedding, the next one sank in the middle, the next one separated. Any ideas? Thanks

My son and I are real chocoholics, but where can we buy a bar of Willie’s chocolate. I can buy the book from WH Smiths (one of the few shops left here in Rotherham). I can even visit Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food, but can I buy a decent bar of chocolate NO.
