Destroying a carbon fibre bonnet
When one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of performance aftermarket car parts found one of their products didn’t come up to scratch, they did what any normal person would and set about destroying it.
The guys at POTN first decided that to destroy a £600 Extreme Dimensions carbon fibre bonnet, they should employ the use of a white van man which everyone knows is the hardest of all van drivers. However after a couple of attempts at running it over, the bonnet was still showing no signs of wear (and this is supposed to be an inferior part!).
Finally, and without fear for their own safety, they resorted to the old fashioned “fold it in half and pile on top” method which snapped the carbon fibre bonnet in two.

Obviously we wouldn’t recommend you did the same to any defective parts, carbon fibre can be a bit of a bugger with shards becoming ultra sharp – I hope they swept the carpark afterwards!
