I saw your review and thought I would give it a go. I went to the Banyan Tree yesterday (21 Feb). It was fairly busy for a Thursday night. I'd been looking at all the reviews and thought would try it. First time there. The waiter recommended the Lamb Rogan. It was really good. well impressed and thank you for providing the info on it. I’m working in the area and had been looking for a good place to go out. I saw your review and thought I would give it a go.

Most Indian take-away I have always found to be much of a muchness. Same old stodgy sauces with clumpy naan breads for dipping. The food at Banyan seemed totally "fresh" and original, very unlike the vast majority of Indian food I have eaten. The menu was contemporary and exciting, but most of all the food was really unbelievable, very light and tasteful. Everything was well prepared and the presentation was also great.
