Let them eat cake!
A good friend of mine has recently started her own cake business in Hull, making that is (my business is eating them!) and it surprised me how much effort goes into making cakes for special occasions.

Wedding cakes are probably one of the most important styles of cake, being an essential part of many wedding ceremonies so it is essential to get it right. Leni has already baked and created many different styles of wedding cake from small cupcakes to multiple tiers.
Birthdays
One of the most exciting types of cake is the birthday cake – each one as fun to make as the next! Children’s novelty cakes are Leni’s speciality with Spongebob Squarepants (or should that be Spongecake Squarepants?), The Tweenies and a Dinosaur cake showcased on the Cakes by Leni website.
