Bugatti Veyron supercar with not so superdriver
March 6th, 2007 Posted in automotiveAh, nothings better than laughing at other people’s misfortune. Here we have a prime example of chump, one guy who decides to hire a Veyron for £20k a day, only to crash into the UK’s very own supercar, the Vauxhall Astra.
According to the Police, the Veyron was travelling at around 100mph when it lost control by hitting a bit of a puddle (remember it was pissing it down over the weekend).
It spun a couple of times, colliding with a Vauxhall Astra with a seven-months pregnant woman inside, before finishing up in trees up a 3ft bank.
The woman was taken to hospital for a check-up but was alright.
The Bugatti driver, who was with a younger male passenger, was reported by police for driving without due care and attention.
The smash happened shortly after 3pm on Sunday on a 40mph stretch of the B375 near Chertsey, Surrey, a known crash blackspot.
